In this video, I demo the KT2A and the OPTO COMP. These are 2 different compressors that are clearly modeled after the highly popular LA2A. My purpose in this video is to just allow you to hear a bit of what these compressors sound like as i tweak the settings. With the KT2A I modded it using the T4BLA onto cell from Black Lion Audio and also gave examples of it with the stock onto cell. Hopefully in the very near future I will have longer audio takes of the compressors being used in somewhat of a real scenario. Many people have asked me if they should upgrade their microphone. In some cases you should do that, but in other cases it may be necessary to upgrade you preamp before your microphone. In this video, I demonstrated how upgrading your preamp first can be beneficial.
