East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, will host the TOUR Championship with the best players from this season all competing for the PGA TOUR’s ultimate prize. This will be a no-cut event, with the top 30 players beginning on their FedExCup Starting Strokes based on where they are in the FedExCup standings. Scottie Scheffler leads the field at 10-under par this week. He’ll look for redemption after playing the last five holes in 1-over par last week, as Viktor Hovland captured the BMW Championship. Scheffler has been the most consistent player on TOUR this season with 15 top-10 finishes and knows how to deliver on the big stage. This will be another Designated event, meaning the field is full of the world’s best players yet again. As it stands, 37 of the top 50 golfers in the world will be teeing it up this week. Leading the favorites is world No.1 Scottie Scheffler. He posted yet another top-five finish at the U.S. Open last week, where he finished in solo third. Scheffler is yet to finish worse than T12 in any TOUR event since October. FedExCup leader Jon Rahm will also be in the field this week.
