They expect a child to do this for 20 minutes? It forces the child to wait for No Good Reason after every single action. It tells you to tap done, then makes you wait to do it. Then it makes the child spell done 3 times in a row and the Letters don't move until the stupid computer tells them what the letter is. You're telling me a 4th grader who is actually SPELLING THE WORD doesn't know what the letter is? I checked the settings - it's set for the 4th grade! What 4th grader can't spell Done! My autistic kid was DONE with it 2 seconds after we started.
The Lexia English demo reel provides an in-depth product demonstration, showcasing a product usage simulation of both the student and educator experience. Key activities within the program are highlighted so that viewers can get a clear understanding of how the program works to support students' speaking, listening, and grammar skills in academic English.
This video gives a view into what the student experiences in PowerUp.
We had a requirement each week of 60 minutes if Lexia and 40 minutes of iready for our elementary students. This was for Kindergarten at a public school with one-to-one technology so each student always had access to a computer or ipad for technology centers. I have heard that some schools give these programs as homework. My school had a no homework policy up until 5th grade so we had daily technology centers. Do you think this is too much screen time at school? #youtubeshorts #teachertalk #elementaryschool #Lexia #iready

I found this For some reason.
When we pursue our passions, when we reach our goals…it’s all because of a teacher. 55% of teachers are considering leaving the profession but Lexia can provide the support they need to help change that.
